Highland Park Dannebrog is a single cask bottling No 1933 which is bottled exclusively for the Danish market in a limited edition of a total of 648 bottles. Highland Park is produced at the world's northernmost distillery on the legendary Orkney Islands, where no trees can grow and where the proportion of angels due to the climate is vanishingly small. Highland Park was built in 1798 on the very islands which were said to have belonged to a well-known whiskey smuggler. The smuggler Magnus Eunson benefited from a strong position within the church, and could therefore look after his side business undisturbed. Who would think of searching for the forbidden item under the pulpit?

Highland Park's unique character is due to the peat used as fuel when drying the grain. This very peat has for centuries absorbed salty waves and gives a heather-like touch to the whisky. Michael Jackson, author of many well-known books on whisky, describes Highland Park as "the greatest all-rounder in the world of malt whisky".
