In idyllic Martinsthal in the Rheingau lies the winery Paul Keßler, which is today run by the Arnold family. The winery has been in the family's ownership for more than 270 years and makes fresh and crisp white wines based on Riesling.
The family cultivates and produces the wines in collaboration with nature and handpicks all the grapes themselves around the various fields.
The vineyards are spread around Martinsthal and Eltville, which is why several different tasting wines can be made, as the soil varies greatly in the area.
The winery is - like so many others in the area - run exclusively on a family basis and therefore the total production is not very large and is sold exclusively in the local area.
Ludv. Bjørns Vinhandel are the first outside of Germany to import the wines from Weingut Paul Keßler.
