Again, Ron Zacapa Centenario succeeded in capturing the taste of the 40 taste judges. The judges, as well as the many international guests at "RumFest" in Barbados, took part in the annual selection and evaluation of rums from all over the world, which is held every year in January.
Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 years took first place in the Premium Category in both 1998 and 1999 - and in 2000 it was No. 2 - only surpassed by its "big brother" of 25 years - Ron Zacapa Centenario XO 2000, which was introduced at "RumFest 2000" .
Ron Zacapa Centenario has been given the highest and most prestigious position in this international competition in which rums from all over the world participate. Ron Zacapa Centenario made its debut in the most important international competition for rum in 1998 - and it took 1st place.
