Kopke's tawnies are legendary, especially the blended tawnies with age indication and not least Kopke's colheitas belong to the super league.

Kopke Fine Tawny is the basic port wine, made from selected blends from several different lots in Douro Superior and Cima Corgo and after vinification aged for 4-7 years in vats of varying sizes, where the maturation characterizes the wine and gives it its distinctive and aromatic character.

Kopke's tawny is a dense mahogany color with red reflections. Aroma and taste have nuances of roasted nuts, pickled orange, prunes and raisins with a hint of Christmas spices. The taste has well-balanced sweetness that balances acid and alcohol, so that the whole appears to be particularly harmonious and without excessive sweetness. The aftertaste has good length and is without astringent tannic acid.

Enjoy with nut-inspired desserts, hard cheeses, the glass ahead of time or just as the end of a good meal.

The recommended serving temperature is approx. 14-16°.
