Mr & Mrs T. Bloody Mary Mix was invented and named after the American Taylor family. Bloody Mary is, as a drink, known all over the world. Both before dinner but also as a "day-after" drink.

The drink itself was first mixed at Harry's bar in Paris in 1921 by Fernand "Pete" Petiot and was named after Hollywood star Mary Pickford. Later, Fernand was offered a job at St. Regis hotel in New York, where he put the icing on the cake by adding Tabasco. Only later in Chicago did the celery follow.

Many people refrain from trying to mix a Bloody Mary, as the drink contains many unconventional spices and ingredients (including celery, tabasco etc.). This problem was solved by June and Herb Taylor some 40 years ago, when they found out how to mix the unique mixture into a finished product, where only vodka had to be added. It was a resounding success for June and Herb Taylor from the first day the product was on the street.

What began as a family hobby in the Taylor family kitchen has over the years developed into a million dollar business. Mr & Mrs T. is still the market leader in its category.
