Johnny Graham and Caroline Churchill
The Churchill-Graham port winery was founded by Johnny Graham in 1981. If the founder's last name sounds familiar, it is probably because he comes from one of the most important families in Porto, the original owners of the huge port winery, Graham's Port, who sold their vineyard to Symington -group in 1970. The Grahams name was thus already taken, so the wife, Caroline Churchill, added her surname to the first part of the winery's name.

The sound of footsteps
Johnny Graham knew exactly what he wanted; he wanted to produce the best possible and as natural port wines as possible. Many port wineries have introduced robots in both the care of the fields and the vinification, because it is cheaper and easier, but Johnny Graham wanted the exact opposite. The vines in his fields must know the sound of his steps, and he will put his very personal footprint on the grapes when they are pressed!

Exclusive Class A vineyards
Johnny Graham uses exclusively homegrown grapes and his three fields (Quinta da Gricha, Rio and Perdriz) are all Class A, the highest classification a vineyard in Porto can achieve. There are no other port wine houses that exclusively use grapes from class A fields. Thanks to the distinguished origins of the grapes, all Churchill-Graham wines are characterized by formidable intensity and aromatic purity.

20 Years Old Tawny port
20 Years Old Tawny Port offers a complex bouquet of walnut, powdered sugar and caramel. The taste tantalizes with a colossal complexity and a seductive sweetness, which is supported by the most incredible freshness, which multiplies the flavor intensity. The aftertaste is extremely long. Enjoy the wine in spacious port wine glasses or tulip-shaped white wine glasses, preferably as a companion to a good cheese table.
