The blend used for this Rosso Verona is made of native varieties which provide identity and international cultivars which contribute to the character and to the style of the wine. In the past it was customary to combine traditional grapes with non-local varieties.

HARVEST From mid-September to mid-October.
WINEMAKING METHOD The first step is cold pre-fermentation maceration for 2 days, which extracts varietal fruit aromas and produces a vibrant, lively colour. Then, the wine undergoes two 7/10 days of alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, to make a fruit-rich, concentrated wine.
SENSORY PROFILE Vibrant ruby red color and hints of red berries, with a soft, well-balanced mouth and fruit-driven finish.
RECOMMENDED CELLARING 3 years in bottle laid down horizontally in a dark place, at the right temperature and humidity.
FOOD PAIRING A very versatile wine, excellent with pasta starters with tomato or non-tomato sauces, red roasts and poultry.
