This rum is named after the 3rd largest of the Virgin Islands (UK), Virgin Gorda with just over 4000 inhabitants TASTING NOTES: - Color: Virgin Gorda has a light golden color. - Aroma: Is characterized by a floral aroma, and the presence of orange peel in particular. - Mouth: Characteristic taste of bourbon barrels, caramel and strong vanilla. Volatile orange peel and nuts round off the long aftertaste. It is blended with rum from Trinidad, Barbados and Jamaica, which is distilled in Pot Still on molasses-fermented sugarcane. The rum is then stored for 7 years in American oak, in addition approx. 20% 8 year rum for the final blend. It is the pure product, as it is not adjusted with sugar etc. other stuff. The rum is distilled at The Poshmakers Distillery, which is among London's best.
