Brøndums Snaps is named after brandy distiller Anthon Brøndum - one of the Danish "brandy fathers" who revolutionized Danish brandy production in the mid-1800s. Incidentally, it is only for historical reasons that the word "Snaps" is included in the name. With its cumin seasoning and 40% alcohol strength, Brøndums Snaps is a real "full-blooded" aquavit.

Like Aalborg Taffel Akvavit, Brøndums Snaps is a pure and crystal clear caraway akvavit. But Brøndum's Snaps are experienced milder and leave a less strong impression of cumin. This makes it very suitable for lunch classics, preferably served chilled. Likewise, Brøndums Snaps is particularly suitable for homemade spiced schnapps.
