The Bourgneuf 2013 has a very sensual bouquet with raspberry, kirsch and a touch of Provençal herbs. With continued aeration there is a hint of seaweed that surfaces. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft opening. There is decent weight to this Bourgneuf with dark plum and raspberry fruit, although it is missing a little structure towards the finish. Nevertheless, one can appreciate the easy-drinking style and it finishes with some swagger, attired in some lovely strawberry fruit.

Im Mund holzcremig geprägt, passabler Extrakt, dabei leicht rappig in der vorsichtig dosierten Tanninfracht, wenig Griff und ein kleines Frischedefizit, aber durchaus mit mineralischem Hintergrund, mittelgewichtig in den Abgangsaromen.
