AH Riise Frogman Conventus Ranae 60% is a tribute to the Danish Frogman Corps. "The Frogman Association Conventus Ranae" was established in 1957, inspired by the British Special Boat Service (SBS), America's Underwater Demolition Team (UDT and Navy Seals) and the Norwegian Navy Hunters. Maritime operations have always been one of the central tasks of the Frømand Corps. After completing their service, the Frogmen can join the "Conventus Ranae" ("a gathering of frogs" in Latin), which is the frogmen's association, which aims to strengthen the bond between active and retired Frogmen. AH Riise Royal Danish Navy Frogman Conventus Ranae is hand blended, matured in oak casks and bottled at 60% ABV. In recent years, AH Riise has collaborated with Conventus Ranae, which among other things led to the launch of AH Riise Royal Danish Navy Frogman Rum 58%. In 2017, the Royal Danish Navy Frogman also received 60% of Frømand's corps' 60th anniversary. Now comes this AH Riise Frogman Conventus Ranae 60% edition as a replacement for the other two, and the taste is very close to the anniversary edition. AH Riise Frogman Conventus Ranae 60% has an aroma of balsamic glaze, mocha, burnt almonds and orange. In the taste you find the same notes as well as i.a. also pineapple, coconut and chocolate. Superior spirit drink made from premium matured rum. 60% ABV - 70 cl.
