An extremely well composed wine from the left bank of Bordeaux. The castle is called Château Pedesclaux and is located in the municipality of Pauillac. This is the second wine from the château and is considered to be one of the most serious and well-produced second wines to be found in Bordeaux.

The rootstock in the wine is Cabernet Sauvignon, but a large proportion of Merlot from old vines helps to give the wine both fullness and softness.

After sorting and de-stemming the grapes, the wine goes through a long maceration, during which the very fine aromas are developed. The wine then ferments and is stored in casks for approx. 16 months.

The wine is very charming with lovely aromas of blackberries, plums and dark cherries. In the complex taste you will also find notes of dark chocolate and mocca. The aftertaste is long and silky.
