Stauning Bastard is a rye whiskey that is brewed from pure West Jutland ingredients, malted on the floor of the distillery and double-distilled over an open fire. After 3-4 years in new, burnt American oak casks, the whiskey is rounded off with at least 6 months of aging in old mezcal casks from Mexican Oro de Oaxaca.

The result is an elegant crossroad of a rye whiskey that you won't find anywhere else in the world.
