For more than 100 years, the Errazuriz Ovalle Family has owned the majority of the vineyards in Marchigue, which is located at the western end of the famous Colchagua Valley. The area is privileged with an extraordinary climate and predominantly has soil with a high content of clay. Four vineyards in the Marchigüe area have been developed to produce grapes of the highest quality and Bodega La Esperanza was built in 2000/2001 with the best technology.
Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay are produced in Lontue, Curicó Valley. The Errazuriz Ovalle family strives to transform the land into economic development and a source of work for thousands of people, in order to continue the family tradition and contribute to the progress of Chile.
The Colchagua Valley is one of Chile's best known areas for top quality red varieties, and has been named "World's Best Wine Region 2005" by Wine Enthusiast.
Errazuriz has been voted the producer with the best Carmenere in the country, at the most prestigious wine tasting in Chile.
Panul Reserva Sauvignon Blanc
The grapes come from the Leyda Valley, which is close to the coast and provides optimal growing conditions for Sauvignon Blanc.
Light golden and light green color. Intense mineral scent mixed with citrus and grapefruit.
The taste is fresh with lime and light thyme with a nice long aftertaste of fresh green apples.
