Ærø Solera Rum

Ærø Solera Rum is a Danish produced rum by " Ærø Whisky" . Distilled, aged and bottled at the distillery in Ærøskøbing on Ærø.

The rum is produced on the basis of sugarcane pulp, and has its natural color, no caramel / e-numbers have been added and no sugar has been added.

The rum is bottled as (Raw Cask), and is therefore cold-filtered.

Ærø Solera Rum has an alcohol percentage of 48% and contains 50 cl. per Each bottle is numbered.

The bottles have stored in what is called a Solera system. Solera means from the bottom and is known from the Sherry industry. It is a system of connected barrels, where young rum is poured into the barrels at the top, and then tapped from the bottom, with relatively much older rum. The barrels have previously been used for Oloroso & Px Sherry in Spain.

"Ærø Whisky" bottles only 300 bottles of Solera Rum annually out of a total volume of over 2000 bottles. The distillery describes the rum as a rum that is original and natural in its form. A kind of old-school rum from the time before the world went downhill and everything became mainstream. There are of course notes of sherry, but also flavors of sugar cane.

You can collect your order 3 hours from placing the order, and if you arrive earlier we will pack it immediately.
