In the heart of the Langhe, around the hills immortalized in Cecare Pavese's poems, the Bosio winery is located in a world where technology and rural tradition go hand in hand.
It was in 1967 when Egidio and Angela decided to start a life full of the satisfaction of hard work.
Like any other good farmer, Egidio started up step by step, with humility and persistence, without expecting quick success, but with the feeling that hard work and the quality of the crops, would bring him results here in the 20th century. The company owns a total of approx. 200ha, divided into different zones. The fields are mainly located in Stefano Belbo, Cast. Tinella, Mango, Costiglio d'Asti and Castagnole Lanze.
In fact, Bosio is just a small part of a large collaboration of growers, so the total area where the grapes come from reaches 400ha. The grapes come from different parts of Piedmont such as; Langhe, Monferrato and Roero.
The philosophy in their way of making wine is to follow the various steps very closely. First you select from large areas, then we create micro-parcels, where each one has unique personalities and is from specific locations. The company continues its growth and today the most important area is Langhe. It develops both nationally and internationally.
