Shinas Estate is located in the North West region of Victoria. This region is known for its Mediterranean-like climate, classic wines and good food. The first vines in Victoria were planted back in 1886 and already in 1898 planting began on the lands that later became the Shinas Estate. The family behind Shinas Estate goes back more than eight generations, and today Shinas Estate is owned and run by George Shinas, who shares the same passion and perfection as the previous generations. George Shinas is also a judge, from whom he has drawn inspiration for his wine names.
